- On April 11th the Collaborative attended their quarterly leadership meeting with the Olympic National Forest to discuss collaborative engagement with ongoing stewardship sale projects, including aquatic restoration progress in the Calawah watershed.
- In April, the Collaborative prepared their funding application for the Building Forest Partnership grant through the Washington Department of Natural Resources.
- On May 9th, the Collaborative attended an internal presentation from Resilient Forestry on the newly completed Over 80 AMA Decision Framework tool.
- On May 11th, Collaborative members gathered to discuss best practices for tracking the progress of stewardship items associated with committed stewardship sales from the Olympic National Forest.
- On May 16th, the OFC Coordinator attended the Washington Forest Collaborative Network monthly call, where they learned about Rural Voices for Conservation Coalition’s recommendations on the 2023 Farm Bill and collaborative capacity funding opportunities upcoming in the IIJA.
- On May 24th, the Olympic National Forest Acting Forest Supervisor attended the Collaborative’s biweekly call for a meet and greet and to discuss possible agenda topics for the Olympic National Forest-Olympic Collaborative Quarterly Meeting this upcoming July.
