- On June 9th, Olympic Collaborative Coordinator attended a Meet & Greet with new Deputy Regional Foresters Laura Schweizer, Jim DeMaagd, and Robert Sanchez Jr., who shared about the region’s priorities and recent updates from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Bill.
- On June 13th, Olympic Collaborative Coordinator attended the Washington Forest Collaborative Network monthly meeting, where Susan Jane Brown shared insights into FACA and forest collaboratives.
- In June, contracting foresters at Resilient Forestry completed boundary flagging for all units in the Tiger Tail stewardship sale in partnership with the Olympic National Forest. They also completed an initial stand exam to assess forest health within the unit boundaries.
- In June, Resilient Forestry completed the installation of post-monitoring treatment plots in the Boomerang stewardship sale area.
- In June, the Collaborative completed the application for a second round of funding for the Building Forest Partnership grant from the Washington DNR to fund the coordinator position from 2023-2025.
