  • On January 10th, 2023, the Collaborative met at the Jefferson County Public Library in Port-Hadlock to have their Collaborative Retreat. It was the collaborative’s first in-person meeting in three years. They brainstormed a three-year strategic plan, voted on their biannual membership, and participated in an interactive training with Resilient Forestry on how to use their custom-made AMA Over 80 Decision Tool.
  • On January 11th, 2023 the Collaborative met with the Olympic National Forest for their quarterly partnership meeting. Forest Supervisor Kelly Lawrence attended to discuss strengthening their partnership through communication and commitment to working together. Included in their ONF update was the Forest’s Program of Work for the next five years, as well as the idea to meet in-person for one of the upcoming quarterly meetings.
  • On January 24th, members of the Aquatic Restoration Subcommittee met to discuss upcoming priority restoration sites on the Peninsula, including their current project at Milepost 16.1.
