On July 20th, the Collaborative submitted a public comment letter on Biden’s Executive Order regarding climate resilience and regulatory forest management.
DNR awarded the Olympic Collaborative a $50K Building Forest Partnerships grant to fund their coordinator position for two years. The grant will run the course of the 2023-2025 biennium and the coordinator position will continue to build key partnerships and support logistical needs for the Collaborative.
In August the Collaborative submitted a funding proposal to the Resource Advisory Council to support the Collaborative’s growing monitoring program.
