The Olympic Forest Collaborative is excited to share that it has been awarded the $50,000 Building Forest Partnerships grant from the Washington Department of Natural Resources to fund the coordinator position during the 2023-2025 biennium. The Collaborative coordinator position continues to support the OFC by developing and maintaining key partnerships across the Peninsula and Washington state. The coordinator position is also responsible for the group’s newsletter, organizing public meetings and field tours, and coordinating logistics for the Collaborative’s regular meetings. The Collaborative appreciates the Washington DNR’s continued partnership and engagement with its work and development.
